Did you know that the NA convention was first developed and conducted in Ohio in 1976-78? Many other nurse assistant related programs were developed around a kitchen table with a group of nursing assistants in Ohio in 1974. Some of these programs include: National Nurse Assistants' Week and Career Nurse Assistants' Day, the National Forum on Nursing Assistants, the National Twenty-Year Club and others.
