I'm beginning to formulate my research project for my master's degree. I am interested in finding out why nursing assistant's leave their positions so frequently. I currently teach an NA course and realize the heavy work load and poor hours, etc. I wonder how initial experiences new NAs experience with older (more experienced) staff members add to job burnout? Let me know what your initial experiences were as NAs and whether those experiences helped you succeed or shot down your excitement.
