June 18-25 is the 43rd annual National Nursing Assistants Week, “Nursing Assistants: Kindness in Action.”
Nursing Assistants go by many titles (CNA, STNA, LNA, RNA, HHA++) but they all provide hands- on care to others who need assistance with daily tasks of care.
Nursing Assistants are key players in the lives of the people in their care and they deserve a sincere “Thank You” and recognition for their efforts and kindness to the people in their care and to their co-workers as well.
Please join us to celebrate and showcase Our NAs who provide as much as 85-90% of hands-on care by Celebrating in Place” in your facility, your area or organization.
“Career Nursing Assistants Day” is day one and a day to celebrate “Stayers'(C) or Wisdom Keepers” (C)- those NAs who provide consistency and stability to care. The following 7 days focus on different aspects of “Kindness” and “Creating a Community of Caring.”

Nursing Assistants: Kindness In Action©
Because they remain in caregiving positions, Career Nursing Assistants provide predictability and stability to care, which in turn enhances the feeling of security for our aging, frail or chronically challenged population. Career Nursing Assistants also bring wisdom, patience, humor and a general attitude of caring to the daily lives of residents.
