Lil, Contact any of your local nursing homes to see if they offer the CNA classes, ask them when they start and get your application is ASAP!
The course is usually 2 weeks long, some facilities willl pay while you train but in more instances than most, they don't but it is ok! Once you do your one week in class and one week on the floor (with a certified tech as a trainer), you will make good money and once you pass your state test, you can get a job in any nursing home or retirement facility or even in Agency anywhere!!!
Good luck and keep us posted here on how things work out for ya!!!
