We are so fortunate to be able to call on a number of professional consultants who do pro bono work for us. One of these is a podiatrist. I talked to him yesterday aboutyour case and he agreed to provide info to you or refer you to someone locally. But needed some additonal info. Please feel free to email me privately with your name, address, state, etc so we can get you to the right folks in your area. At the least, as a professional, anytime you have reason to suspect that abuse - intended or unintended has occurred, you have a responsibility to report this. You do not have to witness - if you suspect anything at all, as a nurse, you are to report this. Some one else will assess and determine possible blame. I urge you to contact your local Long Term Care Ombudsman. If you do not know this person, call area agency on aging or ask me for the link in your email.
