: : after reading some of the complaints on the message board, i had to at least give my insight on being a cna in pa. true the work is hard, the shifts are crazy....my pay right now is 11.19 hr. which isn't bad i suppose, but i have a sister who is a LPN, and she feels that the cna's should make as much if not more than the nurses.....i of course am in total agreement. my main gripe is of course the staffing, and the pay.....but the feeling that you are second class at times by people in management... i say do my job for one day, and then see how you view us.......are there any more cna's from pa......or anywhere......i's like to hear from you...........
I was certified in pa about 2 years ago and left the field for a bit because of the stress and exhaustion it was causing me as a single mother of 3. I am now married and want to reenter the field. PA CNA's out there.... Can you tell me what I need to do to get recertified? Do I need to retake the class or can I just retake the test? Anyone from the Philadelphia Area would be an asset because I am new to the area and have no idea where to start. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
