You help us meet our goals for 2020 when you:
~ Foster Positive Connections with and between residents.
~ Practice using the language of Encouragement.
~ Huddle with other team members to discuss tasks for today.
~ Talk to a legislator or public official about issues of staffing and consistent assignments.
~ Submit an essay, poem or song to the NA Authors Club.
~ Recognize your Nursing Assistants who have 20 or more years of service. Submit their names to the National Honor society for NAs.
~ Talk to your local church group or high school about being a NA.

"NURSING ASSISTANT AUTHORS" CALL FOR ESSAYS AND PROJECTS 2020 |
University of Arizona IRB Approved Study
Are you working as a nursing assistant, personal care aide or home health aide in a U.S. nursing home, assisted living facility or with a home health agency?
Do you want to participate in a research study about caring for older adults, including diverse groups of older adults, in nursing homes, assisted living facilities and home health agencies?
Are you interested in helping to lead the way in developing future educational training that will improve the workplace for healthcare workers and improve older adult health outcomes?
Would you like to help a PhD Nursing student complete her study and graduate?
If so, consider participating in a University of Arizona, IRB approved study, with a 45 to 60-minute video conferencing interview to discuss the care that is provided to older adults in nursing homes, assisted living facilities or home health settings. Participants will receive a $25-dollar Amazon card as a thank you for participating.
