National Network of Career Nursing Assistants
Celebrating Our 29th Anniversary Year
NA Week 2006 > Celebrate

CELEBRATING THE EIGHT DAYS OF NATIONAL NURSING ASSISTANTS WEEK

The goal of the Daily Dialogues Project is to bring nursing assistants together in a spirit of good will and anticipation of the good that can be accomplished when we work together for positive change

Each day of Nursing Assistants Week provides an opportunity to explore another aspect of the official slogan which is the Great American Caregiver.

Celebrate There are so many ways to celebrate. You might gather informally in groups of twos or threes or in small groups on the unit or in a class. You may want to plan a candle light service, a coffee, or work with others in the area to plan regional recognition event.  This is a good time to connect with others on the NNCNA web site, message board, and listserv or by email. Individuals might also want to take a few minutes on your own simply to think about how valuable you are to the people in your care.

Each day of Nursing Assistants Week provides an opportunity to focus on a different aspect of the slogan which is the Great American Caregiver.
