Why is it different for male CNAs and nurses taking care of women? REALITY!!!!
Women have been taking care of men for centuries, not so with men. Women have been taking crae of women for ever, not so with men.
Why is it a male Dr. always has a female nurse present when doing exam's or care to women? To protect them from charges of sexaul abuse! Why should it be different for male CNAs and nurses?
A charge of sexaul abuse made from a male patient toward a female staff member is almost always dismissed out of hand or even laughed about. Not so when a female patient charges a male staff member! The charge alone can and often does ruin the reputation of a male staff member. Guilty or not, the male CNA or nurse will suffer!
We males should always take care of female patients, but we should do this with a female staff present at all times!
I went through this and I can tell you it is not pleasent! Even though the charge was known right away to be false and only made to get revenge for my refusal for more intimate contact. The gossip mill strikes! Ever since then I have refused to take care of female patients without at least the presence of a female staff member in the room. No problems have ever occured again once this demand was met.
Yes, ladies, there is a difference for male CNAs and nurses taking care of female patients.
Can you understand this difference? It would be great if we males did not have to worry about this, but reality speaks louder than what we wish for.
