Effective team leaders encourage the participation of all team members in terms of their verbal input of ideas, as well as their performance task-wise in accomplishing goals. �In fact, participative management has been suggested as an appropriate method for increasing the quality of decision making and job satisfaction of nurses, thereby enhancing the delivery of cost-effective, quality nursing care� (Together Everyone Achieves More by Leveck & Jones, 1996). We want Nursing Facilities and Adult Care Homes to provide � Preceptor Development Class� for all C.N.A. preceptors. This provides the resource for having successful � lead CNAs to assist the novice C.N.A. during and after orientation.� These classes also allow off-site team-building opportunities with a preceptor/lead CNA on all shifts. The role of a lead Certified Nursing Assistants is base on the needs of each shifts or units. They will work with a team to solve problem. They should have quarterly preceptor meetings with a clinician to re-group with the preceptors to share experiences with each other. This also allows time to network and problem solving among the Lead CNAs
