Please see above for the link to the NC Nurse Aid registry site...also see the Health and Human Services for NC. I don't think NC recognizes recipricocity any longer, meaning that you are able to transfer your CNA from FL to NC. However, I do believe that you can apply to be tested for your CNA here in NC. The 2 year rule....make sure that you have worked under a RN in the past 2 years...even if it is within the past month or so in FL, or NC. This is mandantory in NC. Here's another website to visit....www.cnatest.com. This outfit is most helpful in getting re-certified and may just be your answer.
