I am thinking of taking the CNA course to lay the groundwork for my nursing career, I am seeing a lot of CNA work only in Care facilities. Is that where the market is for CNA's? I know that the pay is not great but I want more medical assisting and back office work, am I heading in the wrong direction? I truly have hats off to all of you CNA's that work in the care facilities in sometimes awful conditions, I know my grandfather was a victim of abuse in a home. I need the truth about this career choice, I am in California if that makes a difference. Thanks again.
