Isala,

Congratulations on having a wonderful litte baby.

So sorry that you were treated in this manner. if you can tell me the city you live in, I can direct you to someone locally who can help and we will work with them on your behalf.

There are other services that you should be getting as well such as WIC and medical care for yourself and the baby. We can also talk about what is avaiable in your area and how to access these services. But I do need to know the city and state.

You do not need to put this info on the message board, but email me privately to [email protected]

Best of luck.

: I am a CNA and I was working at a high skilled nursing home
: I got pregnant and my Doctor gave me restrictions (I had a miscarriage 2 months prior)since there was no DON at the time I had
: to talk to the Administrator. He told me that since I had
: restrictions there was nothing that I could do but stay home since there is no such thing as
: light duty for a CNA and that is what the doctor had requested. The Administrator
: also said that I was more than welcome to come back when I
: had my baby and that I would get the same shift same hours
: of course none of this was in writing or I didn't even complain
: but recently since I had my beautiful, healthy, baby boy
: I called and they said well we don't know call the person who
: does scheduling, which is someone different than the person
: that was there when I was there of course, and she will schedule you
: when there is openings. I don't think that I should be scheduled whenever they want to
: because of my situation I should be able to get the same shift what should I do?
