Special Care Unit training

I was 'trained' last night to work on the SCU. This is (in case it's different for the rest of you) where our ambulatory Alzheimers residents live. I was literally tossed back there for my first night, no training, no support and a charge nurse who wouldn't answer me when I screamed for her from a bathroom where I was being punched in the back by a man twice my size. A lesser person would have walked out without telling them they were even leaving, and I am sorry to say that I actually considered doing just that.

What do I do when I go in today and the same thing happens? What am I supposed to do when I get there and they tell me I have the same assignment tonight with no support?
