I am a male cna in Las Vegas,
I often see cna's having to force
residents to have their diapers changed,
physically fight and hold down the resident
while they scream and fight! Is this abuse?
I understand its necessary to change them,
but when they refused and they stink, and all
else fails, how far should we go??? I work for
the registry and this is the situation almost
everywhere in LTC!

CNA's in Nevada make $8-$10 an hour in LTC,
hospitals $7-$9
Registries pay $11 on average.
Assisted living $7-$8.
and an average load is 12 residents LTC,
hospital 30-40 patients like med-surg.
