- who wants to know where the programs are offered in their state. I've spent hours here trying to find a program, and the only thing I can find are the programs for every state but my own. I called my local community college, and they can only tell me to call all of the nursing homes and see who is offering them! I'm in Indiana, and my goal is to be an RN when my son goes to school in five years. I want to start as a CNA now. Surely I don't really have to phone all of the nursing homes in the area to find a program? Thank you for any help you can give me, and if you can't give me any help, thank you for letting me complain about this here!
