I refuse to give this nursing homemore than 4 days a week
of my time, as I am the ONLY prn on duty.
Beuing I am the only prn I am not going to even work what they want as needed.
if I did, I'd be on all 3 shifts, working doubles every day of the week.
Attitude of the TNA's is since they are all TNA's (in Training)
(I can't call us CNA's because none of us are certified, except for a couple)
Call ins of the TNA's are just what it is Attitude that they are
in Training, at 5.25 an hour, while ey realize every nursing home in a 50 mile wide
radious is paying more. What they don't realize is,
This is one of the only NH's that staff TNA's on the floor and working for months to years. **YES, AS TNA'S***
I've seen a 8 year TNA who workd this nursing home 8 YEARS,
as a uncertified and took her test, and failed.
Might I add she failed MISERABLY.
She walked around this LTC like she owned it,
with ll her do this do thatbut in essence, all her giving orders to new TNA's
proved one thing.
WORKING THE FLOOR, does not make you that knowledgeable,
So being a Training aide for 8 years, and could not pass her test.
also proved, she cut corners so much in 8 years, and forgot
everything when test time came around.
