Thanks for posting this. As we discussed, we are in touch with legal, media, legislators, and federal pubic policy people about this. This is so very unfortunate, but now that it has happened we want to use it to let others know about the impact that inadequate salaries has on workers - and this situation points this out in a very graphic way. NAs can help right now by sending us emails with your views about this. It is important for the NA voice to be heard. We are working on a list of "Talking Points" that ytou can take to your legislators, media and other public policy officials. We need to be supportive of this NA and not let this happen ever again.

: Lisa Beamon left for work monday(4-10), left her three children ages 4-9-11, recently, their light had been cut off due to non-payment. She used oil lamps to see by and heat by, and usually, she a neighbor will listen out for them, while at work Lisa gets a call from the neighbor who told her there had been a fire, and her 4 year old had died.
: The paper stated that Lisa had sought community services, but there were too little fund. The district att. may seek charges on neglect, Little Calvin was funeralized today 4-15.
