I'm interested in hearing from CNA's and Educators in LTC facilities about how newly hired and newly trained CNA's are oriented. How long are orientation periods?
Are CNA's oriented on off shifts? Do you use preceptor programs and if so are they successful? How do you keep a CNA in orientation when staffing goes down the tubes? I have a zillion questions, but we'll start here.
