Hi Ruth,

For starters, what is a STNA? What type of training is required to be a STNA? What type
of healthcare setting do you work? What shift?
Do you work full or part time? Do you attend
staff meetings? If so, how often? Are there
STNA inservices? If so, how often? Have you
considered volunteering to be on a committee
or focus group? Does your employer offer any
type of career ladder for STNA's? Do you ever
attend any seminars or workshops? Have you
considered taking a class that would apply
to the type of work you do?

Please feel free to email me... I would like
to know more about STNA's... my 35 year career
path has been as an RN... last 6 years teaching
nursing classes...
