Pay in Lieu of Benefits

My name is Anita Baumann, and I am a Research Analyst with a firm called Syndicated Research Group. We provide advisory services for senior HR executives in large firms. Right now, I am working on researching the trend of pay in lieu of benefits in the nursing homes industry and wondered anyone has any experience with that. I am trying to get a sense of whether this policy helps with recruitment and retention.
