: after reading some of the complaints on the message board, i had to at least give my insight on being a cna in pa. true the work is hard, the shifts are crazy....my pay right now is 11.19 hr. which isn't bad i suppose, but i have a sister who is a LPN, and she feels that the cna's should make as much if not more than the nurses.....i of course am in total agreement. my main gripe is of course the staffing, and the pay.....but the feeling that you are second class at times by people in management... i say do my job for one day, and then see how you view us.......are there any more cna's from pa......or anywhere......i's like to hear from you...........

I am a CNA in PA and the facility where I am working just
hired a new night time supervisor, I only worked with her
maybe 3 times, and she has told others behind my back,
that she plans to try to oust me from the facility because
she does not like me. How low is that. I never even speak
to her unless she asks me something.

Why must anyone on a nursing staff insist on making it worse
when it is the resident who needs you the most and having
a partner to work with when trying to lift up these people
when the facilities in the area expect you to be able to lift
everyone by yourself is impossible.

Is there a place to go to gripe about stuff like this just
to relieve the tension. Please feel free to email me personally
if there is anyone out there who feels this way.
