Dear CNA,
I am a graduate nursing student at Lewis University College of Nursing and an developiing continuing education programs for CNAs as my practicum experience. My first step is to conduct a needs assessment to determine which topics are most important to you, the CNA. Please take a few minutes to answer the following questions.
1. Are you interested in taking continuing educations classes on-line? If so, how much would you be willing to pay?
2. Does you employer pay for these classes now?
3. What topics would you be interested in?
Communication with staff? Teamwork? Professionalism in CNAs? Understanding disease conditions such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's etc? Managing difficult behaviors? Pressure sores? Others?
