In Washington where I work, it's required that we do 10 hours of continuing education every year for the type of facility that I work in. Some community colleges offer these courses, or you can take them via the internet, I'm not sure if that is the same as what you are asking? I've found searching for "CEU's" in a search engine has brought up some results. You might want to give that a try. I work in an Adult Family Home, and it's regulated by the Department of Social and Health Services and they are the ones that place those types of requirements on the facility I work for, You being in a different state, might ask your DNS or call your Nursing Quality Assurance Division reguarding what's required for the type of facility you work for. But I've not heard it's required to do CEU's in order to continue my certification's in both Idaho and Washington. But it's required for me to continue to work in the type of facility I'm in. (hope that makes some sense to you)..LOL...

I know that the CEU's I have to take MUST be related to my job duties...(I tried to fudge once with "womens stress in the workplace" the licensor let it slide, but said it needed to show it was a healthcare related class...
