This is a great time to get articles in your local paper about the value of the NA and the wonderful things NAs do when provideing care.
The Male NA TAsk Force meeting in June 7 -8, 2000 in Akron. This group will discuss the finding of the past 2 years about males as NAs and make recommendations to legislators and public policy officials about issues of staffing, training, etc relating to males in long term care. We need male NAs to be involved in the meeting and also to follow up in own area. Some funding is available to help and male NAs who would like to be considered should contact me as quickly as possible at [email protected].
