Yes there are many male CNA's; but not enough!
I think there should be more, but the pay isn't
always good- so supporting a family on CNA
wages isn't good...Male CNA's are needed for the
simple reason- we have male residents who would
really appreciate having one of their own take
care of them...

The residents! When they appreciate what you do;
you go home knowing you did a good job. You are
needed.

A zoo. :) Seriously, it can be tough. The work
load can be heavy, and we work short a lot.
Also, within nursing there is a lot of bullying
like behaviors: Nurses thinking they own the
CNA's...
As long as you mind your own and do a good job
most people will leave you alone.

Probably the quickest way would be to go to a
local nursing home that offers a CNA class.
Take it and work for the home. The Red Cross often
offers classes as well; and community colleges.

Yes most certainly. They love part timers because
they often don't give bene's with it. Part timers
may get paid more money too.
