National Nursing assistants week is a project of this organization, the National Network of Career Nurisng Assistants and Career Nurse Assistants Programs. You should be getting a catlaogue in the mail shortly and the new web site should be coming through any day now. It will have a lot of info and as soon as possible, we will be including things that you can download. In particular,we are trying to get the Proclamation form in a format that you can download so you can go right to the Mayor with it. In the meantime, do talk with Nancy and others down there about your plans to contact the mayor. Make sure you have NAs present to accept, arrange a photo shoot and press coverage. Again, Nancy can help you connect with the right folks on this.
Good luck. So glad you were able to take the Leadership Program and we are hopeful that we will be able to come to your state to make this more accessible to more NAs. I have been hearing good things from your area.
