The terminology of nursing assistant is our generic term for anyone who provides handson care to the illl elderly and long term client in the nurisng home, home care, hospice, attendent care, long term care unit in a hospital or other.
Our NA Committees been very busy planning some very interesting things for this week. The new site will include a great many ideas for focusing on NAs. If all goes well, you will be able to download a Proclamtion and other materials this year. Each year we distribute thousands of Proclamations for Nursing Assistants Week for mayors and governors to sign. These proclamations are important because they help people in the communty to gain a better understanding of who we are and what we do. they also help educate legislators about the real life issues of care.
By popular demand, we will also include additional information on conducting a Millennium Gathering in your facility in conjunction with National Nursing Assistants Week.
Keep those Twenty Year Club membeships and reports coming in..
