I went to do my CNA training in a school
which was free for me by virtue of my status. During this period
of my training, i execelled in every part of the training.
At the end of the training, I was told that they couldn,t approve
my clinicals,not because I didn't do an excellent job on
the patients, instead the list of wrong doings which will require me
not to go in for the board exams are as follows:
1. I was late 30 mins late from my break, we are a group of 5 students and all of us were 30mins late on that day because we all went to lunch together, but I am the only one who was asked to repeat. The accusation also was that i drove the other students to the chinese resturant to buy the food. The instructor said she came out to the parking lot and didnt find my car, but i didn,t drive my fellow students anywhere infact it was another student who actually drove his car there.
2. The instructor accused me of being slow at working with my patients so I could avoid helping my fellow students.
Which is not true, for I believe when just starts a new it takes time to get familiar with the procedures besides I worked at the same pace with my fellow students.
3.She said i always laughed and joked with the staff of the nursing home
In her report she didn,t list anything showing negilence towards my patient.
I believe i am being treated unfairly and i have worked so hard to get to this stage.
I would like to know what i can do in this situation.
In my finals my score was 97%, infact I scored always the highest in the class quizzes and exams.
I need information as to what to do.
What I am wondering is why am i the only one being punished if enough to ask me to repeat the clinicals then it has to be everyone since it was all of us who committed the offense
