Unfortuantely this happens. It is too bad that they let you get all the way through the class without clarifying this for you. There are a number of things that need to be taken into consideration here and each state does this a little differently. If you can email me privately with your city and state ( to [email protected]), I will help you get in touch with the people in your state who can help you sort this out.
Hope you can join us in the chat room for the Millennium Gathering for NAs on 1/8/2000 between 2-4 PM EST.

: : I have recently completed a certification course which I was lead to believe would result in a CNA certification, I now find out it does not. I would like to know what I would need to do to upgrade my Home Health & Hospice training to CNA certification ... can any of the additional studies be done through the internet in a correspondance type of method ? Could I do the clinicals through the local hospital if they were in agreement ? It seems unreasonable to think I would have to take the whole CNA course since the Home Health & Hospice course covers about 85 - 95% of the CNA studies (or so I have been told). Can anyone please advise me on this upgrade problem ? Please send comments to [email protected] ... the email address posted above.

: : Thank you !
