Hi Cindy-
OK if they have told you to take matters into your
own hands- so to speak- I would do so! Take
super smoker aside and tell her:
You two are a team, and that you expect her to
be there for you when you need her. Tell her that
the two of you can organize your time to fit in
breaks and what not- kind of like a schedule.
See how this works. Then, document this little
meeting and let the DON know what you have done.
This is only the first step...let me know if
you think you can do this. Sometimes holding the
other team player accountable makes them feel
needed, and important.
