You all have so much insight into issues and you are also doing a great deal to be a part of the solution. We need your voice in the Network and also in the Leaderhsip Training Program (10/31-11/2/99). Others do want to help. We need you to share these experiences directly with HCFA and other Public Policy officials who want to support the NA Movement in positive ways.
We can make a difference, but we need to speak with one voice to these folks. In the Leadership TP, NAs will develop position statements about these and other critical issues of care so that when you speak, you know that you have the support of others from across the country. I think you will be pleasantly surprised as I was that so many people on the federal level do value your input - they just have not known how to connect with you. The Leadership TP and the National Network have made this connection possible - now we must use it to our advantage.
We are working on sponsors and will have some funds available to help cover expenses for NAs to attend.

: I have enjoyed you message board very much. It has helped me gain insight into the issues of CNAs. Can anyone offer any suggestions for resolving shift wars. This has recently become a huge problem and nothing I have tried so far has worked. The CNAs are very caring and they work hard but as with us all they are not perfect. They attack each other with the most viscious tongues and I fear they will cause us to lose some good CNAs. I look forward to your ideas.
