Pat,

We need you in the chat room on this web site. Arlene will be notifying you of the schedule. As always, if you will send us your postal mailing address, we will send a complimentary copy of the Nework News and additional info in the mail. You can email CNAP/NNCNA privately at [email protected] if you like.

Much thanks. Maybe you can come to the Leadership Conference and 6th Annual Forum on NAs, 10/31-11/2 in Arlington VA.

: Would like to share info, compare local data re:
: staffing, morale in general, and the changing role we are facing in this increasing job market

: I work for a municipal facility w/ 235 beds ..long term care, re-hab, dementia units, and skilled care....I am presently on the skilled care unit, we have 25 beds..alot of younger residents w/ MS, CP, MD,I thoroughly enjoy my work, at this point I can't see doing anything else... I would like to see some changes in the education and training of nursing assistants as well as more recognition than the old axiom " nursing home workers"... Love to hear from some of you...Thanks
