You are right - you deserve to have things work well all of the time and you deserve a really great web site.
So far, have not seen anyone who is lazy - Just see folks who are doing an incredible job with limited dollars and a lot of volunteer effort.
You do have a passion to make things better and I do think your passion could be directed to educate others about what we really need - the problem is that others see us as just bitching and they turn it off. The trick is to find ways to say things so others will listen.
By the by - we are working on revisions to the site. We had to change direction in Sept with the bombings and are still working on ways to replace what was lost when we could not do the 4th National Conference and 8th annual Forum in DC. Two of the things on my wish list are a page of NA photos and a page where we can put info up on a weekly basis(sigh). What would be most helpful to you?
National Nursing Assistant Week is June 6-13, 2002, it will be our 25th anniversary and the slogan is "Celebrating the Great American Caregiver" We will need lots of NAs out there talking to mayors, congressmen, media, family members and other organizations about the importance of NAs and what we need in order to provide care.
