Hi everyone. Well, I am about to quit my nursing assistant job because I need more pay and because of the administrator that works there. She basically said to me that I was soooooooooo overzealous about my upcoming CMA classes. She told me I should talk to a doctor about taking medications because I was excited about CMA classes. She also said that I might not be able to take the classes because, "you would drive the RN up the wall asking too many questions!!" That is what she said!!! Too bad I don't have a witness !
Anyhow, I gave my notice and my last night to work is this coming Wednesday. Today, when leaving, the day staff was shocked that I was leaving. Thought one CNA was going to cry....we were all hugging ! They understood why I'm leaving but man, its hard to deal with. I will miss the residents and most of my coworkers! Even one resident that is usually difficult to most gave me a hug one morning after giving her a shower. She never gives hugs! (The residents don't know I'm leaving yet.) She told me I was the best nurse she ever had and that I made her day. Leaving is going to be hard, but I have to.

I cannot live on 6.25/hr, especially since I live by myself. And, the administrator there is terrible. Someone suggested reporting her, but I wouldn't know how and I didn't have a witness to what she said to me. Other coworkers begged me to stay.
The administrator said there were so many complaints about me from other coworkers but everyone is asking me to stay. There are only 2 of them that are troublemakers though. They work a different shift than me and I figured out that they talk behind my back constantly and tell on me constantly. I don't even work with them 2 people! I don't even know them personally!

So, last night, I had very mixed emotions. One minute, I was upset because people talking behind my back and about the administrator there, the next, I'm ready to cry because I don't want to leave because of good co workers and the wonderful residents.

I'm not looking for advice, just wanting to vent and cry a bit. This is hard!! I posted here because I figured other nursing assistants would understand.

Thanks for listening. I hope I explained it enough.
