I'm doing a private duty case in a Retirement Community. The caregivers are not licensed, therefore, no charting. I really miss not having the paper trail. I leave my own notes for the Charge Nurse when I go off shift. Maybe that will start a routine? I doubt it. I do Home Health and had excellent SNF training. I'm not going to compromise for them, plus, the family who hired me appreciates the follow up.
