: I have a question for those who have, or are senior CNAs in their facility.
: How do you change a co-worker's view of their job?
: I have a couple of co-workers who rarely help fellow CNAs, or take care of a resident that they are not directly assigned to. (They do not seem to believe in teamwork)
: Our facility has tried to get us c.n.a's to be team players and we try when were not boggled down with to much resident load ourselves,we are always under staffed and underpaid! we have temporary services that pay temp c.n.a's over 6 dollars more an hour. mean while we get a 25 cent raise per year. Its hard to be committed to a place of employment when they ask for loyalty and none is given the c.n.a's. What the real shame is , not retaining the nurses aid for the residents behalf. It seems lie there is very little done to make longevity important after they gain your trust andcompanionship. so they ultimately pay the price.
