John

I think you are right on target with this as an issue and I am looking forward to seeing comments from other NAs. I will urge you also to put this out on the Male NA List Serve as well.

Keep up the good work

: I have a question for those who have, or are senior CNAs in their facility.
: How do you change a co-worker's view of their job?
: I have a couple of co-workers who rarely help fellow CNAs, or take care of a resident that they are not directly assigned to. (They do not seem to believe in teamwork)
: Our facility does not have a career ladder, or accountability structure for CNAs other than direct intervention by nurses. (We do not have senior CNAs responsible for other CNAs).
: I am trying to sell the facility on the idea of appinting senior CNAs who may better be able to deal with problem CNAs than nurse are.
: John
