Thanks for your post. I have forwarded it to a number of guys in the male NA Task Force. You will also be receiving info about joining the male NA list serve. WE need you and they will help you anchor into the work setting and navigate some of these things. These guys have been there. Casey is a male NA for 13 yr, John B has more than 20 years and other have mega years as well. Keep in touch. We want to work with you on this.

I just did a workshop in Louisville KY at the race track - ask around and see if anyone in your facilty attened the program. You are developing a chapter of the NNCNA in Louisville. : I'm a Male CNA and new to the Health Care field,unlike my wife(LPN).I will be going to work at the same Nursing Home she works at in the next week,I only have one large reservation and that is dealing with a client after he or she has passed.I now the CNA has the job of getting the client cleaned and ready for the family.Can someone please give me some words wisdom on how to deal with this.I plan on making the best of this new career !
