: : : Can a person who has a CNA in the State of taking more tests? If not, where should we go to get the test?

: : Hi Alice:
: : I'm looking for the same information regarding transferring from CA to MO? Anybody know? I do Home Health specializing in Alzheimer/Dementia/Parkinson care. I called both CA and MO and haven't heard back yet.

: : TIA

: Alice: Yes you can, no test required if you hold a MD certification and are on the registry. You can call the Nurse Aide Registry at 800-852-0518 in PA and request a "Application for Enrollment By Reciprocity". Just fill it out and send back.
: Good luck!

: Sandy: Missouri does not have an application, you must FAX a copy of your certification, social security card, day telephone # and return address. They will send you a letter of approval to take final exam...the facility you go to work with will administer the test to you. FAX # 573-526-7656. Good luck!
