: I have been a Human Resource Director for Genesis Eldercare and it has been an honor to know so many talented CNA's, many we trained at our facility. Presently I recruit CNA's and nurses for Genesis in Maryland and Delaware. Once I hire a CNA I try to stay in touch, offering assistance, but more importantly support and guidance so they can continue their nursing education. I know time and money is the main factor for not going to school. We offer tuition reimbursement, scholarships, flexible schedules and weekend programs. Do you have any other ideas on how we can assist aides who would like to further their education? We also try to help employees secure financial assistance and we are beginning to develop a montoring program. Any ideas would be appreciated.
