I am a health care worker, we have a case of MRSA in our facility. We were told, also to wear gloves and wash(common practise)BUT!!!! the subject with MRSA is allowed to eat within the common dining room and precautions are only taken when in her/his room. What I need to know is ... should the client be in total isolation? If not, what other precautions should be taken within the facility??????
