Do you know the ombudsman in your area. I will try to find name and call them. They should know where these are. In addition - I know you do not work in a nursing home, but you probably do have some nearby - they have to do inservice and you might be able to make a deal to attend. If you are certified, offer to come in hour for hour and feed at meal time. This is - if you attend one hour of inservice,you will feed for one hour or they put you on the payroll for the one hour and you pay them for one hour of inservice. If you do this, be sure they give you a cerficiate or memo stating date, time, content, objectives and name of the instructor for your records. You need a portfolio - sorry you are not coming to the Male Task Force meeting, we will be doing them at that time. In the meantime, be sure you keep track of all of your certificates, workrecords, classes, etc.
