I was looking for somewhere like this message board that was specific to aides that work in home care, and couldn't find any, so I started on of my own. I am a RN, who was the Inservice Director ina Nursing home, and taught the CNA class, and I am now doing home care, training Personal Care Aides, and then upgrading them, to Home Health Aides. I have nothing but an incredible respect for the hard work that Nurse Aides do, and I want to hear what you r joys and rewards are, and what your company does (or doesn't do) to promote postive feedback to you.
Working as a CNA in a nursing home is a tremendously difficultjob, believe me, I realize that, but Home Care has it's own set of frustrations... I wanted to give Home Care aides a chance to vent. Thank you for your time, and God Bless you for all your caring and hard work.
