1. January 8, 2000 is the Millennium Gathering and NAs across the country are going to be joining together in thought and purpose - some will do open house, or a candle light service, a coffee, some will just recieve a nice note on their time cards and a number of chat rooms are going to be open to connect NAs.
A chat room will be open on Jan 8, 2000 for the M Gathering - go to the Millennium GAthering site and watch for instructions from the NA Internet Committee - Patti, Shari and Laurie.
A dedication page for NAs to recognize residents is also open (see link)
2. June 1-8, 2000 is National Nursing Assistants Week
June 1, 2000 is Career Nursing Assistants Day
The theme for this year is " Caring: Time to Make it Personal,"
Career Nurse Assistants' Programs, Inc is the founder and sponsor of the annual nationwide observance since 1985 and in Ohio since 1977.
