Thank you for your response.I will look into a home care agency and see if i can hook up with their inservice hours. Sometimes its difficult working alone.The family doesnt always know where to draw the line.In some cases when a patient improves and my duties lessen as a c.n.a the family will try to keep me in as a housekeeper.I chose to do this work for the elderly population who seem to be suffering most from our healthcare "crisis" so i'd rather move on to help another.Also,working independently leaves me with little or no work occasionally.On the upside choosing the hours you want to work is an advantage.
