Thanks for your question and thanks also for including Patti Green's notes from the 2nd National Leadership Conf (DC 10/31-11/3/99). Patti and Lyn were wonderful participants in the conf and have agreed to do even more with the Network. We will be releasing more info about committee appointments and time lines in the very near future.
Do know that Position Statements are important to the work of the Network and they give each of us support when talking about issues of NAs - because they represent the views of thousands of NAs nationwide.
Our plans are to do some additional tweeking to these Position Statements and then to make a manual avialable that will include the statements and how to use these in the facility, the peer group and with public officials and legislators.
You and your message folks may want to take part in the committee work - that would be great!
