Hi all!
I just found this messagebrd. and it is great. There
are more and more resources out there for CNA's than
ever before- messagebrds., mailing lists, web sites.
I think it is great.
As I read all these posts, staffing sure is a big
concern, and it kills me to see it happen. I always
wonder why Nursing Homes staff the way they do. Who
decides how many CNA's are to working in any given
unit? What do they use to justify this? We take care of
human beings, and it seems that more people are needed
to prep the meals than to take care of our residents!
Anyway- this is a great board and keep up the good
work. There is a mail list/discussion group that I run
if anyone is intersted. E-mail me privately if you're
interested.
By the way- I really like the Career Day ideas and
CNA week stuff. Thank God someone had the vision to
come up with this.
