If you love it - then go for it. You may want to start by going to a nearby nursing home and see if they will send you to the required training and testing program. Our suggestion - Get your feet wet in the care setting and then begin to look at other options.

: By my doing this it is going to put my family on a tight budget, but I feel I need to do something I will enjoy and be able to challenge and better myself.

: What is the possible benefits (if any) of going to college for Patient Care Tech???
