Wonderful that you want to continue your career, but the rule is 2 years and then you have to take the course again. A lot has happened in the past 10 years and you might want to take a course to update anyhow. You should not have to pay for the training adn the nursing home is reimbursed for sending you to training. The best thing to do is to go to a nursing home nearby and ask them to send you to training.
